If your like me, your computer is packed with music. But what happens if your hard drive crashes or even worse your mac gets stolen. You always have your iPod right? Well you have to get your music off of your iPod and onto your computer. The easiest way I have found is iPodDisk.

iPodDisk is a great little applications that mounts your iPod as a hard drive. You can then browse through the music on your iPod just like it was a mounted network drive. Your simply drag your music off the drive onto your computer and into iTunes. iPodDisk can be downloaded here. Enjoy!

Everybody loves the videos on YouTube. And it seems like everyone received an iPod for the holidays. So what could be better than combining the two. The problem is how?

Well the short answer is PodTube. It is a simple application that works with Safari and downloads video from YouTube and puts the video into an iTunes playlist. Then you simply drag the file (or the whole playlist) to your video enabled iPod and presto...YouTube on you iPod. Here is a short screencast on how to do it. Enjoy!
